A cell line is a defined population of cells that can be cultured and maintained in laboratory conditions for an extended period of time. They serve as essential biological models for many researchers at the Crick.

We provide a diverse range of services, spanning cell line culture and storage, quality control screening, mycoplasma testing of cell lines, and antibody production.

We also maintain the Cryostore and oversee the FreezerPro database, which contains vital information for each cell line in our repository.

We also actively engage in our own research and development endeavours, aimed at fostering innovation and identifying opportunities for enhancing the efficiency of processes within the STP.
