Yuxi obtained her BSc in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Peking University. She went on to complete an MSc in Pharmaceutics at Peking University under the supervision of Professor Qiang Zhang, investigating nano–bio interactions in cancer cell migration. In 2021, she began her PhD in Materials Research at Imperial College London as a President’s PhD Scholar under the supervision of Professor Dame Molly Stevens, focusing on the modular design of nanoreactors to overcome matrix effects in biomedical applications. She also spent time as a visiting scholar at the Kavli Institute of the University of Oxford. Yuxi has since joined the McTernan group at King’s College London and The Francis Crick Institute in August 2025 as a postdoc, working on novel targeting delivery systems for anti-tumour therapeutics.
