Vasishta Polisetty finished his medical training and psychiatry residency from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi.
During his MBBS, he was awarded the Khorana Scholarship where he worked on computational measures in EEG of young patients with prodromal schizophrenia at Yale University. In his MD thesis he worked on the functional connectivity of cue-induced craving in smokeless tobacco.
He joined the Crick in October 2023 and is interested in exploring and detecting autoimmune aetiologies within the widely heterogenous clinical spectrum of psychotic illnesses.
