Stefan Boeing

I studied chemistry and biochemistry, learned about science in general and immunology in particular as undergraduate research assistant in Sasha Tarakhovsky's lab, built transcription-initiation complexes in vitro during my Ph.D. work with Michael Meisterernst and Dirk Eick. As postdoc in Jesper Svejstrup's laboratory I learned to plan and design screening studies and started to migrate into data analysis and interactive data visualization. As bioinformatics core analyst, I enjoy working with Crick scientists to design best-practice experiments and to derive project-relevant insights during the data analysis. It's a pleasure to co-work with other highly professional core facilities at the Crick - particularly the AI and software development team, the database team and the pipeline-development team.
