I'm a bioarchaeologist in the Skoglund Ancient Genomics Laboratory, primarily working on our Ancient Dog and Wolf project. Other projects I'm involved with in the lab with include ZooMS, radiocarbon dating, and newly emerging ancient genome studies. I received an Outstanding Contribution Award in 2024 for my work developing and reorganizing lab-wide archaeological protocols.
I have an MPhil in Archaeological Science from the University of Cambridge, applying ZooMS to artefacts from Iron Age Kazakhstan, graduating at the top of my class. My undergraduate at University College London focused on SEM-EDS analysis of iron metallurgy from an Icelandic Viking context. This thesis won an internal university award and received a commendation for a national dissertation award.
