Patricia obtained her PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (Spain) in 2005, studying the mechanisms underlying allergic responses.
After a short postdoc at the Universidad de Santiago de Compostela (Spain) she joined the Cancer Research UK London Research Institute to work with Facundo Batista, where she used in vivo imaging techniques to decipher the cellular interactions regulating lymphocyte activation.
In 2013 she established her lab at King's College London, which became part of the Francis Crick Institute in 2015.
