Jody Rosenblatt

Principal Group Leader

Jody Rosenblatt is Professor of Cell Biology at the Randall Centre for Cell and Molecular Biophysics within the Schools of Basic & Medical Biosciences and Cancer & Pharmaceutical Sciences at King’s College London. She received her Ph.D. in Biophysics and Biochemistry from the University of California, San Francisco with Tim Mitchison in 1998.

She did an independent post-doc at the Medical Research Council-Laboratory for Molecular and Cell Biology at University College London before starting her own lab at the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah in 2005. In 2019, she moved her lab to King’s College London.  

She serves on the editorial boards of Journal of Cell Science, Molecular Biology of the Cell, and Faculty Opinions, and Frontiers in Biophysics and on the advisory boards of the University of Utah Department of Biology and the University of Pompeu Fabra, and the Institut Curie. She is currently a Royal Society of Biology Fellow and was an H. A. and Edna Benning Endowed Chair, Howard Hughes Medical Institute Faculty Scholar, and co-leader of the Cell Response and Regulation Program for the Comprehensive Cancer Support Grant while at University of Utah.
