We deliver impact through our partnerships with industry, sharing knowledge and disseminating findings through publication. Industry scientists are embedded in the Crick, where they work alongside Crick scientists to advance discovery research. Crick scientists also spend time in industry to access complementary technical skills and capability.

In our LinkLabs collaboration with GSK, Crick and GSK scientists swap workplaces to work on collaborative projects. Researchers are able to quickly and collaboratively develop their ideas, working side-by-side to tackle fundamental science problems.
These are projects that are possible only through sharing our different skills and expertise, and making use of our combined facilities and technologies.
We have been awarded a multimillion-pound grant by the EPSRC to further advance our partnership.
AstraZeneca and the Crick have a joint research fund that enables us to collaborate on early-stage research that could translate into new treatments and health innovations in the future.
The combination of AstraZeneca’s expertise in developing new medicines and the Crick’s strength in discovery science, will maximise the potential to make breakthroughs neither partner could alone.
In our five-year collaborative relationship with MSD Crick and MSD scientists are working together on projects at the Crick to better understand hard-to-treat diseases.
