Apprentices

Apprenticeships combine practical on-the-job training with study, and we try to offer apprenticeship opportunities whenever suitable jobs become available.

We encourage a broad range of people to apply (including existing staff) and especially encourage applications from our local area. 

Apprentices gain technical knowledge, practical experience and wider skills that they need for their current job, and their future career. This happens through a mix of learning in the workplace, formal off-the-job training and the opportunity to practice new skills in a real work environment. 

There aren't any apprenticeships available at the moment, but we will advertise open apprenticeships on this page, and we encourage existing staff to consider if a Professional Apprenticeship Programme would be appropriate for them as a development opportunity.
